AWA Aikido Spring Camp, May 13-17

Spring camp, a great opportunity to greet the change of seasons with friendship and Aikido. Kihon waza, henkawaza,
and oyowaza, along with bukiwaza, will be taught by Sato Sensei and the AWA technical committee members over
the long weekend. Attendance will be recorded for those who need to fulfill attendance test requirements for rank
advancement. Everyone is welcome!

Join Our Teacher Support Fund

Our students' classroom teachers face difficult challenges. Diligence, skill and experience are often not enough. Underfunded, our teachers often find themselves spending their own money on supplies for class and student enrichment activities.

To help alleviate this problem, and in keeping with our mission as a not-for-profit educational organization, we have structured our program to give back to our schools a portion of our enrollment fees.

The program works like this:

We start the fund by donating $250.00.
An additional sum is donated to the fund for each new student enrollment in our after school program.
A percentage of all monthly program fees are donated to the fund.

Aikido for Beginners, Free Class

This FREE class introduce the principles of Aikido and self-defense. With emphasis on basic techniques and learning to roll and move correctly, these classes build the foundation for ongoing training. New students are encouraged to enroll in one of these sessions before attending ongoing classes. Everyone is welcome!
